Burberry im Herbst in London statt Mailand

"London is our home" - mit diesen Worten erklärt Christopher Bailey, Creative Director von Burberry den Entscheid seiner Marke, seine nächste Damen-Modenschau im Herbst 2009 in London statt Mailand zu zeigen. Damit guckt Mailand in die Röhre, wo Burberry die letzten Jahre seine Schauen vorführte und weltweite Beachtung fand. Die Schau wird am Donnerstag 22. September 2009 stattfinden, dem letzten Tag der London Fashion Week, die diesen Herbst ihr 25-jähriges Bestehen feiert. Die Mitteilung des Hauses lässt allerdings offen, ob es sich mit diesem Schritt um einen definitiven Wechsel oder eine einmalige Aktion handelt.
