Heute auf der Kehrseite einer Zürcher Tageszeitung wurde nach Vorschlägen für die beste B-Seite einer Vinyl-Single der letzten Jahrzehnte aufgerufen aufgerufen.

Unser Vorschlag stammt aus einer vom Vater geerbten Plattensammlung: "Oh Woman Oh Why?" auf der B-Seite von Paul McCartney's Single "Another Day" von 1971!!!




Die Begründung (als absoluter Beatles- und McCartney-Laie): McCartney's Song auf der Rückseite des eher behäbigen Liedes "Another Day" wirkt erstaunlich verwegen und (unserer Meinung nach) für McCartney ziemlich sexy. Ein cooler, bluesiger Rocksong mit wenig sagendem Text, den wir eher Lennon zugeschrieben hätten:
